Dan Maloney CPA CFP CM&AA

Dan brings a unique background and a different approach to the Business Intermediary arena.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and served as a tax partner at a "Big 4" professional services firm.  His client base crossed all industries and included manufacturers, distributors, contractors, real estate developers, retailers, financial institutions and professional service firms.  His practice encompassed tax planning , business planning and financial planning.  Clients included Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships and LLC's.

Following his 20 years in the public accounting arena, he served as President, COO and Co-CEO of a group of several privately held businesses operating throughout the eastern USA.  He was responsible for operations, finance, information technologies, human resources, risk management and administration.  He also oversaw business planning, change management and M&A activities.                                                                            

Dan has served on the Board of Trustees and/or Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa Museum of Art, the Tampa Bay Business Committee for the Arts, Junior Achievement of Tampa, The Westshore Alliance, The Florida Tomato Committee, Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association and the Florida Tomato Growers Association.  He is a member of the Florida Venture Forum, the Association for Corporate Growth, The Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors, the International Business Brokers Association, Leadership Tampa Alumni and the American Institute of CPA's.  He is also the President and Chairman of the Business Transition Council of Tampa Bay.

In addition to his Intermediary/Business brokerage business, he is also a Managing Director of Aria Capital Advisors, LLC, a boutique investment banking firm.  Dan hold FINRA Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 79 (Investment Banking), Series 62 (Corporate Securities) and Series 63 (State Laws) licenses.

Harry Haigley MBA AVA

Harry brings a variety of experience to Certified Acquisition Associates clients.  He has more than six years of experience as a Business Intermediary and Merger & Acquisition professional and has an international base of clients.  Prior to becoming a Merger & Acquisition Advisor, Harry owned a marketing consulting firm for 11 years with billings exceeding $1 Million a year.  He has also served as Chief Marketing Officer for one of the nation's largest Professional Employer Organization firms; was Director of External Communications for Fannie Mae; and was Director of Worldwide Communications for Arthur Andersen & Co., responsible for marketing communications in 25 countries.  His extensive background also includes being an investigative reporter and editor for the St. Petersburg Times and Miami News.  Harry holds a BA from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. 

In addition to his intermediary/business brokerage activity with Certified Acquisition Associates, Harry also operates FMT Services, a company specializing in valuations of privately held businesses.

Jeanine Maloney SPHR

Jeanine began her career as a paralegal and earned the professional designation as Certified Legal Assistant.  She later progressed into the human capital arena where she served in HR positions of increasing authority including Director of Human Resources at both publicly held companies and private enterprises.  In her role as HR advisor to management, she worked on employment-related due diligence matters for the Mergers & Acquisitions process.  Jeanine is the CEO of Certified Human Resources, a division of Certified Acquisition Associates, where she specializes in analyzing the human capital structure and needs of companies.  A major portion of her time is invested in preparing the needed documentation and policy manuals to guide entrepreneurs, employees, management and potential buyers of businesses.  She holds the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources and is active in the SHRM affiliates in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.     

In addition to her activity at Certified Human Resources, Jeanine is also a consultant with a national outplacement and human resources consultant firm.  Her duties include counseling displaced executives and developing strategies and marketing plans to get clients re-employed.
